Today, I sprayed down some ants in my house. In the sea of ant corpses was a single living ant seemingly cradling a dead one in its arms. I'm convinced I just became the villain in an epic tragedy. Now I have to live with my ant problem because I can't bear to tear another family apart. FML

Just keep your house clean and they won't have any reason to be there. It's all your responsibility.

Your house doesn't have to be dirty to attract ants. How do you know the OP didn't just move in there and there was already an ant problem? How do you know if their house is spotless and maybe a piece of bread fell behind something and they just never knew? You don't. You really shouldn't jump to conclusions about other people lest they jump to conclusions about you.

I was tempted to write a comment from the perspective of the ant dragging away the body, but I decided not to :P Seriously OP, when a human invades an ant colony they swarm and bite them...every insect is that way. They defend their home when it is invaded. So I figure, as long as you aren't going out and looking for things to kill, you'll be okay.
