It was not a routemaster. im a londoner too. i take risks crossing myself, but i know when you can do it, and when you cant. this guy didnt realise the bus was right behind him as he went to run out on the road. he wouldnt have made it. if he goes about catching buses like that every day, it defies science and logic as to how he is still alive.

A lot of the buses in central London have open sides, allowing people to jump on while the bus is moving. If someone was running to jump onto one, it'd certainly look as though they were about to go under the middle of the bus, but you very well may have stopped someone from catching the bus in the same way they do every day.

Nope, buses used to have open doors so you could jump on but that was like 50 years ago (complete guess, but it's a long time ago). They did recently reintroduce that style of bus, so you can get on at any door, but you can't just jump on anywhere. There are guards at the door to make sure people don't get on or off while the bus is moving and they get really pissy if you try it.
im in my thirties. they stopped using them around 2000-2001... 50 years ago.. the cheek.
toss him under the bus and ask whether he CATCHES the bus right on this time
That's a southerner for you
Next time mind your own business and let fools die!
Next time he might be going going gone xD

Sounds like you deserved it. He was going to latch onto the bottom like a crab on a pubic hair. How else are you supposed to get around those ridiculous bus fares.
Should have pushed him back under it.
