If you superglue the sole of your shoe out of desperation, it's highly unlikely you are lazy. Insufficient funds seem to be the main culprit here.

Well I only have a 3 pairs of shoes but they're all for different occasions. One pair for work, one pair for casual wear and a pair of heels for more formal occasions. So maybe OP was in a rush or their money is tight.
