Today, I talked to my ex on AIM after not speaking to her since we broke up two years ago. The conversation lead up to her asking how I feel about her. So I poured my heart and soul out to her, because I still love her. She immediately logged off. FML

If you haven't talked to her in 2 years and you're young and stupid enough to spill your heart over the internet quite likely while sober I doubt you still love her I think you love the idol you have created in your mind based on her. Get over it and learn the difference between love and idealization

#47: We're hearing the whole story through the OPs perception. He said it led to her asking how he felt about her....no direct quote. She could have said something along the lines of, "how do you feel about me?" As in, "Do you think we could be friends," and he took it as a way to run with it. To me, it sounds like the OP was looking for an opportunity to divulge the info, and he would have taken any opportunity to do so, even if it wasn't something she thought was an invitation. She could have said, "Do you hate me?" and he took it as time to tell her how creepily Im in love with her after 2 years of not speaking!
