Sounds like a siren & a red flag...anybody that quick to respond (especially with a "I'm not cheating" text) definitely is up to no good...I had the same experience with an ex. My text was, "hi Hun". Followed by "why are you always accusing me of cheating? I'm at my bff's house!" (I'd never accused her before this) Yeah, she was at her bff's house alright...making out & having sex with with her bff's cousin that she was introduced to 10 minutes earlier & since I was the only one to ever text her, she thought she could text & sex at the same time, so then I called to ask why she'd say that & heard him ask her who she was talking to & to get off the phone because she was "killing the mood". Fyl op.
