Today, I texted my girlfriend to tell her that we couldn't hang out because my dog died this morning and we were burying him. She replied that she wasn't going to get stood up by a stupid dog. She then broke up with me. FML

That's terrible OP, sorry for the loss of your dog. I'd feel terrible if something happened to my cat Izzy, I rescued the little bastard after someone just left him at the local 7-11 back in may. Some people just don't get the emotional attachment people have for pets. Hope you are handling it well and hope you can find a better girl friend.
