Today, I thought I'd finally make a step towards getting over my ex-fiancé by flirting with a cute waiter. I left him a note on the bill. He comes back, says "which one of you is [name]?" and leans down close to me to say, "Thanks for your note, but your card was declined." FML

Today, I went to a restaurant with my boyfriend. After dessert, he went to the bathroom so I quickly called the waiter over and paid the bill, thinking it was a nice gesture. When he returned, he broke up with me for "emasculating" him. FML

Today, I went to a restaurant with some friends. I noticed a very cute waitress about my age, so I walked over to her and asked if she had a boyfriend. The extremely fit, attractive waiter standing next to her immediately turned, held out his hand and goes, "Yeah. Meet me." FML

Today, my boyfriend asked me out to dinner, which we never do. While at the restaurant he gets down on his knees, looks me in the eyes, and pulls out a little box. He opens it and inside is a note that says 'We're Done.' He then leaves me at the restaurant with the bill and the $2.00 box. FML

First off you fail. You didn't have enough money to fork over a restaurant tab but yet you were going to get married? You need some kind of financial stability to get married. Learn how to save and wise up. That looks bad on your part odds are the waiter isn't even interested just wanted to be nice. I know I wouldn't want to be with a broke female and I prefer paying for everything.

#9, I love how you are an idiot. OP, you deserved it because you give notes to someone who seems 'cute'. If someone gives you a note, you feel flattered but not at all attracted to the person who gives it, at least not because of it.
