Today, I thought I'd finally make a step towards getting over my ex-fiancé by flirting with a cute waiter. I left him a note on the bill. He comes back, says "which one of you is [name]?" and leans down close to me to say, "Thanks for your note, but your card was declined." FML

Today, I went to a restaurant with my boyfriend. After dessert, he went to the bathroom so I quickly called the waiter over and paid the bill, thinking it was a nice gesture. When he returned, he broke up with me for "emasculating" him. FML

Today, I went to a restaurant with some friends. I noticed a very cute waitress about my age, so I walked over to her and asked if she had a boyfriend. The extremely fit, attractive waiter standing next to her immediately turned, held out his hand and goes, "Yeah. Meet me." FML

Today, my boyfriend asked me out to dinner, which we never do. While at the restaurant he gets down on his knees, looks me in the eyes, and pulls out a little box. He opens it and inside is a note that says 'We're Done.' He then leaves me at the restaurant with the bill and the $2.00 box. FML

# 14 you are just pathetic.. And again people who fail to understand why FMLs are FMLs I guess I'll break it down for you like I did on the spanish text one.. The reason its an FML is NOT because the card was declined and NOT because the cute waiter may or may not like her. Its because the card was declined WHILE she was trying to flirt with the waiter. Although a card declining is in itself embarrassing its not quite FML worthy. But to add the fact that she was trying to flirt with a waiter makes it an FML.
