There is a right and a wrong way to introduce pets. Clearly you chose the wrong way.
Now you know, haha :)
Keep trying OP. Persistence is the key!
Sorry OP, YDI on thiis one. Dogs and cats usually don't get along, most people know this.
Not true, necessarily. It depends on the individual animals. I had two Cocker Spaniels who grew up with cats and they got along with cats very well. When we'd bring a new kitten in the home, they'd be very sweet and protective of her. People would ask how the cats got along with the dogs and we'd tell them that the cats got along with the dogs better than they got along with each other, and it was true. The cats were known to fight a lot, but it wasn't unusual to see one of them cuddling with one of the dogs.
Ah, I missed the word "usually." My bad.
Assuming then that your dog is an outdoor dog so you definitely deserved it
I could argue that dogs are better pets than cats, but it would just devolve into a pissing match.
I don't understand what you thought you were doing with this comment if not "arguing that dogs are better pets than cats"
hahahahahaha.

Well of course you've got puncture wounds. You peed on her and scratched her. Poor cat.
Who's pee stains?
