Now if someone parked in handicapped parking without either a temp or plate tag, i would call the cops, and say something. But there are so many invisible diseases out there and you had no right. YDI
Don't stick your nose where it doesn't belong. Not every handicap person looks sick. I hate when people say shit to me when I use my tag because I'm so young. Try living with an unknown illness that mimics ms in symptoms and see if you are in any shape to walk a parking lot on some days. Not everyone who has a sticker is wheel chair bound. There are heart and lung conditions invisible to a stranger that make these necessary. He shouldn't have just hit you with it, he should have beat you to a pulp for everyone who was ever judged for using their tag.
Serves you right you ignorant Bitch! people think I shouldn't park in a handicap spot because I am "young strong and healthy ". I have a physical condition in make legs where I am in constant chronic pain and can't walk very well for long distances. and FOR the record; I am NOT over weight AT ALL!!
I am no where near over weight but live with chronic pain in my legs. I've had to since I was 14, I've heard the you're young line to many times, it's a total piss off.
I had an old women pull that one on me. Apparently since she didn't need it I shouldn't either. I told her to be grateful she didn't and leave me alone. Chronic pain is no joke. The weakness and falling that goes with what I have is even worse. My father served in Vietnam and like many kids of vets from that war, I am sick. No answers, just live with it. The doctors don't know how to treat it because they can't figure out what it is. It's frustrating enough to be sick without answers without people commenting. Sure, days when I am walking like a zombie I get left alone. But most days my flare ups aren't that bad. It just hurts to move. And I'm sure others with chronic pain have days where it is less evident to an outsider as well. I don't think any of us want sympathy. Just a little courtesy and understanding and to be left alone when we are trying to live our lives.
my injury is rare, I am one of a handful that had had it. The doctors don't have answers and as I get older I am getting worse. It sucks not getting answers, I remember when I was in my teens nothing angered me more than hearing another doctor say the don't know. they don't know what to expect, and hearing people say I am so young, I don't really need the extra help.. it is so damn annoying. Currently I have an iv in for more issues with my kidney. moral of the story, challenges both physical and mental don't discriminate, young, old obvious or hidden they all make life a challenge so **** off and stop harassing us.
OMFG You asshole! Don't judge people!
YDI for being a presumptuous ass.
It's amazing. People with handicapped parking stickers, that you have to apply for and prove a relevant disability to get, park in the correct space and get harassed because some asshole walking past decides they don't look disabled enough. What, exactly, does "disabled enough" look like? The ignorance blows my mind.
Doh! Ydi!
People are being really harsh on the OP. He got what he deserved so whats the big deal? Im sure 99% of you have judged someone in the wrong way
No matter how able he looked, if he had a visible tag YDI. I get dirty looks sometimes when I get out of my vehicle because I'm fairly young and my limp isn't initially obvious (something I've worked hard to achieve) but after - going back to my vehicle - there's no doubt bc I'm in so much pain I'm limping badly. So just bc someone looks non-handicapped doesn't mean they aren't. OP doesn't say if prosthetic leg-guy had a visible plate or rearview mirror tag - if he didn't, then that sucks because people parking in those spots without them is frustrating to those of us that *need* them & it's good to know some ppl call those selfish jerks out on it. But if he had a tag or plate and OP just called him out bc he appeared normal then that's another story.

You two clearly started off on the wrong foot.
Seriously? Why would you judge someone like that?
