Today, I told a guy he should be ashamed of himself for parking in a handicapped space. He hit me with his prosthetic leg. FML

You two clearly started off on the wrong foot.

Seriously? Why would you judge someone like that?

YDI for exactly what happened. You don't know anybody's reason for disability so keep your mouth shut unless you KNOW someone is abusing the privilege

serves you right! Mind your own damn business parking space nazi.

I really don't see how you didn't deserve this. Maybe this will teach you to be more respectful and not assume you know everything about someone in just one glance.

did you have a limp after he beat you? I hope so! and your dumb ass better stay out of the handicapped parking spot because YOU aren't handicapped. jerk.

What, did you think all disabled people where in a wheelchair or something? Sometimes disabilities aren't so obvious. I don't see why you'd jump to conclusions like that, OP. Next time, think before you accuse strangers of doing something wrong. Besides, its the cops' job to make sure people park correctly. Unless someone is putting others in danger, its best to just mind your own business.

Why did you even bother walking over and talking to him? Jesus, if he wasn't handicapped, he'd eventually be caught and ticketed. Mind your own damn business if you aren't going to get your facts straight first.

Many complaints about "judging". You have the right to judge anyone, it's how you get through life. OP's mistake was he felt the need to go over and share the verdict he had reached- and got what he deserved. This is why I don't get involved.
