So many music choices out there and you went with country. Wtf is wrong with you
But country is horrible tho
At least it's not rap.
"I like country music, I like country girls. I like Wilkie Nelson, and don't forget about Pearl. There's only one thing that I hate, because it's a bunch of crap. I-I-I hate rap"
But I like country music...I don't think it's that bad
You should've led with "Do you like country music?" And if she said yes, follow with "you gave me that vibe. You look like you could get down. Am I right?" That would be way less offensive.
Here are four places you ****** up, in order of least to greatest: 1. Country music is for some reason rarely a neutral genre. People either really, really love it; or they really, really despise it. 2. Even if country music wasn't controversial, that's just a terrible pick up line. What does it even mean? That she's blonde and wears cowboy boots? 3. Hitting on a co-worker. Most of he time this just makes things awkward for everyone, and it's unfair to do to someone. 4. If you absolutely must talk to that cute girl because you have a crush on her, you should never stat out with such an obvious (and bad) gimmick. It immediately backs someone who is just trying to do their job into a corner, when you have plenty of more discreet opportunities to get to know her and test the waters. It's not a bar where you'll never see the person again and have to make a fast move with no knowledge on common interests. You literally work with her and see her everyday. You could easily started slow and talked about the job like a normal ass coworker.
It's not like he told her to go kill herself. If you honestly think that someone calling you a country fan is the worst thing over something like that, then you and the girl in the post have pretty shallow standards.
Sounds like she's super stuck up. I think you dodged a bullet.
A bunch of over sensitive people in here taking this in such a negative way. Get over yourselves

Well I kind of agree. Telling someone they "look like the kind of person who..." could easily be taken offensively.
She's not wrong.
