Sure, everyone has their own right to say no to a date/relationship/whatnot, but the people they say it to have a right not to be treated rudely. He should have had some manners (or at least feelings) and expressed himself in a less douche-y way. You're better off moving on without this one, OP, and finding a guy that respects other people before opening his god-awful mouth.
