Today, I took a pregnancy test. When I saw that the result was positive, I started crying and showed my mom. She burst out laughing and told me that I had taken an ovulation test. FML

You used the wrong form of "your," should've been "you're." Also, that's "unprotected," not "unprotective." Perhaps if you focused more on your own faults and less on other people's perceived faults you'd be both happier and smarter. Since she had an ovulation test, my assumption is that OP is trying to get pregnant, and I'd bet her mom is okay with it.

Why do you hate it, and how is it 'ew'? I'm very close with my mom, and we share lots of stuff, she's like my best friend. There's nothing wrong with being close with your daughter or mother, it's quite healthy actually.
