everybody fails the first driveing test (except those few special people). I knew a girl that did the whole test perfectly, but when she pulled in at the end of the exam she pressed on the gas instead of the breaks and hit a light post. she failed on the spot. my point is you have to drive 10X more carefully then you would by your self. just go back and try again. good luck OP.
I guess I'm one of those people.
I had a provisional/special circumstances drivers license at 14. I didn't fail my first time. All the best drivers don't fail the driving test. Or the written test. Because they know they're being tested an prepare for it.
well then that makes you one of the special ones. try not to fall of that really high horse of yours. you could hurt your self.
If you go to driving school and study for the written test there is no reason you should fail the test. It's the 6P rule. Prior Preperation Prevents Piss Poor Performance.
YDI. The mere fact that you do not understand why he failed you and your ignorant thinking is worrying. If you don't know why he should fail you on that, you shouldn't be on the road. I had my first accident on boxing day last year. Drove right through a give way on a rainy, windy cobbled street. I was doing thirty mph when I knew I should've been going slower and I clearly didn't do all of my observations properly. I got hit from the right. Guess what I nearly failed my test on? Yup, I failed to check the blind spot each time. I only passed because I did everything else perfectly. I tell you, that was a wake up call and every single time I get in that car, I drive to test standard now. Don't let an accident make you see sense. You may think these rules as a driver are stupid or "too safe" but they're there for a very good reason.
If the light was about to turn red then I'm assuming it was already yellow. Driving through a yellow light during a drive test is an automatic fail you dumba**.
I second that (instead of rewriting the same...). You're a dumbass, OP, for not even knowing how traffic lights work. YDI.
When taking a driving test, drive the way the BOOKS tell you to drive, not the way people ACTUALLY drive... dumbass!
Drive safe damnit
OP, YDI. Buzzing a red light WITH THE EXAMINER IN THE CAR suggest sub-par awareness. I don't want you driving anywhere anytime until you wise up! Failing you might mean you and those you'd kill with your carelessness get to live a little longer.
I just have to add a little more to my comment: OP, YDI. Buzzing a red light WITH THE EXAMINER IN THE CAR suggest sub-par awareness or a truly scary kind of cocky arrogant idiocy. Dangerous anywhere but lethal on the road!! An "almost empty" intersection? Thinking you're flawless when a veteran instructor is terrified?? I don't want you driving anywhere anytime until you wise up! Failing you might mean you and those you'd kill with your carelessness get to live a little longer. This may be the most YDI fml ever! At least you're good at being a moron!!
The driving test here is easy here In New Mexico. I know I did well when the instructor said my driving was soothing him to sleep and stopped paying attention. The test should be harder because NM is number one in the US for car accidents; I have close calls daily.

For the test, you need to play it overly safe. Then, once you're granted a license, drive like every other crazy ******.
Your and his perception of flawless driving clearly differ. I trust his judgement more.
