This is why my mum doesn't touch my stuff. So many times have I left components on my bed and left the room. And to those wondering why they were replacing their motherboard, they probably had an old one or it was bugging up when the pc was running, causing it to crash. Its why I need a new motherboard, as well as some more RAM and a new processor too, as mine is puny and does nothing. Also, another reason could be that they didn't have enough space on their old motherboard for the new RAM or the video card was too big for the motherboard, therefore requiring a new motherboard if you want an awesome video card.
It never says anything about replacing a motherboard in this FML. It says they took it out to add RAM and a new video card.
yeah well he prolly wouldnt care if she threw the old one out the would he?
As a computer technician, I am thoroughly bothered by this post for a number of reasons.
I'm so glad I no longer live with people who randomly throw out shit that isn't theirs.
YDI for taking the whole motherboard out. Not necessary at all.
Unless you're in high school move out of your mom's basement. Problem solved.
Did you flip the hard-drive over, so you could use the other side, while you were in there?

So if it's not broken go get it out of the trash?
You should slap your motherboard in her faceboard.
