I just wanted to clarify that later he felt bad and asked if I was fine, which I was. I also laughed at my clumsiness... I was even the one to close that door! Oops. I cleaned the mark (which he hasn't come home to see yet) and there is no violence... It's a funny story within our families now since I'm actually well known to be clumsy!

Well who won the argument...it's now true windex makes windows so clean it makes it hard to tell if the door is open or closed...
I find this a very good way to end an argument (granted you didn't get hurt). On a funny note rather then a mad or sad one! Lightens the mood!
Clean it off when he's not there, when he goes to tell someone, tell them it's a lie... No pics, no proof...

of course there is no violence! the people who think there was clearly have no sense of humour and take life too seriously. laughing together is super important. and be more careful next time! :P
How do you have a boyfriend?
If you still wanted to storm out of the room, and not look stupid, you should have just shattered the glass.
I laughed just as hard when I read this
Hopefully that ended the argument and hopefully you have a sense of humor :)
Why were you storming out of the room? What were you expecting to gain from that?
I agree. Unless it was something actually worth getting angry about (which it usually isn't), then it's really not that difficult to just talk it out without getting angry and making everything worse.
And how would demonstratively storming out of the room help in that situation?
That is what you get for trying to dramatic. I get people fight but why do you have to escalate it by storming out or adding stress? I'm very big on needing my space and having to leave after a fight to cool down but I don't leave in a huff because it just makes it worse. I lose respect for people.
Don't wash it. You'll need the smudge there so you don't want into it NEXT time you guys fight.
