Isn't it ironic, dontcha think?
People can laugh all they want, there is no way I'm ever riding a roller coaster. For some strange reason I fail to see the joy of feeling like my entire digestive system is being turned inside out, my heart is being pulled through one of my nostrils, and my eyeballs are being shoved into the back of my head so I can see my own brain.
Climb down.
At least you weren't in a ferris wheel with a immature friend like i was. When we got stuck he kept swinging the seat back and forth cause he knew it freaked me out. I kicked his ass when we got off the ferris wheel.
Imagine if the roller coaster started up again...
What doesn't kill you will always make you stronger.
Maybe start smaller next time and work your way up. But props for trying. Don't take your girlfriend laughing too seriously. She's comfortable with you.
I'm sorry, OP. I have a really bad fear of heights too. I went on the Tower of Terror in Disneyland because a friend pressured me into it. I got out crying and swearing at her. Good thing you got out safely.
at least you faced your fears! Lol I give you props for that!! XD
Congratulations on your survival! It's not the fear of heights so much as fear of falling from heights. Perhaps your girlfriend can understand that, now.

that's a good way to get over your fears.
That truly is rough OP, I feel your pain. But at the end of the day, you can say you faced your fears head on, and thats something to be proud of.
