this isn't an FML. this is... priceless. picture would make a good billboard. maybe. props!

OP here. Yes, I have a serious problem with drinking. Yes, I have been to one or two AA meetings, and not court ordered. I am in the very early steps of quitting drinking. It is ruining my life and I take it seriously. Bless you for the support, thank for the lawlz, and FU to the trolls.

[op] I can't speak for the whole state, but generally you'd be wrong. I live in the Atlanta suburbs. The dialect is midwestern. Few people around here are from GA. I'm from California myself.

I agree, sourgirl. My aunt and her family live in Michigan and you can really hear the accent. My brother goes to school in Michigan and he's always being made fun of for his Canadian accent. In the movie Coraline, the main character (Coraline) has a very clear Michigan accent. It's just like in the UK. Different regions have different accents.

Hang in there, OP. A large percentage of people relapse when trying to quit. Call your sponsor or talk to a friend. You can get through this, just use the support systems available to you.

Its fine, pour yourself a beer and forget about it lol

I agree with you 70, but what I was referring to was 24's comment being stereotypical, just like 96's comment. Yea, every place has a specific accent, and you can tell where someone is from by their accent, but I am pissed that the other two low-life dicks (24 and 96) are stereotyping the South.

I don't see the problem here. That's like saying you left your pack of smokes on your box of nicotine patches.
