Wow. 2/3 Americans are overweight and it's because everyone has a thyroid problem.(sarcasm) Anytime there is a fat fml you've got the bleeding hearts running to the rescue with the "Fat because of health issues " excuse. Honestly most people are fat because they eat too much and refuse to exercise. You don't like being called fat, than pass up the McDouble and go for a run. And don't call me a skinny uncaring bitch(I know some are thinking it). I myself am a tad on the larger side,( by tad I mean I have about 20 pounds to lose). I'm not saying this to be mean, I'm saying it because it's true.
I agree! Not everyone is fat because of heath issues that is just the go to answer for everything these days. Just like the weight loss treatments. Quick fix but what have they learned? NOTHING
There is one thing I find wrong with this post, though I agree with most of it--McDonalds is probably the healthiest of all fast food burgers, with half the calories and fat of places like burger king. In the "eat this not that" book, most mcdonalds is listed as a "healthy alternative". I eat mcdonalds 2-4 times a month or more and I'm only 110 lbs.
It may not be a health problem causing it, but bad genetics will **** you over every time no matter what you eat or how much you exercise. Some people have a limit to how much they can lose and they'll still be overweight. I can't get under 175 no matter what. Not to mention, for some people there's a mental thing that makes it really hard to eat healthy. 90% of veggies make me throw up so I don't eat anything other than lettuce, carrots, mushrooms, and broccoli. Everything else makes me physically ill. And the whole just cutting out the bad stuff just doesn't work. You can cut it out and only eat it occasionally but you'll never get rid of the cravings and it'll drive you insane no matter how long you do it for. For me personally, I'm just going to go under the knife in 10 or so years when I'm done having kids. Problem solved.
everyone can lose weight. I used to be like 130lb! but I cut out almost all food and exercised like crazy and now after one month I weigh around 105. I feel better, and my stomach has shrunken so it's not even difficult anymore.
