Today, I was asked to prom by the same guy who "accidentally" cut off a chunk of my hair in class and with whom I haven't had a conversation in my life. When I politely declined he said, "You'll regret this". FML

Step 1. Run Step 2. Call the police if you ever see him again.

Tell the principal. No reason you should have to put up with threats.

And people wonder why I avoid men like the plague. Hope all is well OP

That's a bit sexist, don't you think? Not all men act like that, it would be like saying "I avoid black people like the plague" if you read about one black man doing something bad. Of course this particular man is in the wrong, but you can hardly apply that to all men.

Your response is also a bet sexist - interesting how that works. #81 has the right to associate or not with anyone she chooses. BTW Your race example is also a big racist. There are black people who refuse to associate with white people, a fact you conveniently failed to mention - interesting how that works too.

maybe he was making a love potion and then seeing if it worked by asking op out for prom. either way, the threat turned it from maybe being sweet to scary and revolting.

A guy I already hate cut of a strip of my hair, and asked me out. Wtf is wrong with guys.

I know this sounds totally bizarre but maybe he really likes you and couldn't think of any other ways to get your attention like cutting your hair would. I still would have said no as well, but it's it's a possibility lol

Just shaking my head here at the number of YDIs.... No WAY did you deserve that! Hope it goes ok OP, stay safe!
