Lady, you pushed a tiny human out of your ******. Don't let anyone make you feel bad, you're amazing!

Never ask a woman when she is due until you see the baby's head coming out of the birth canal.

Don't worry, the fat will disappear as soon as the kid learns to walk. Little buggers are nature's fitness instructors!

15 months and that kid is still in the oven? Damn, OP, push that thing out already

Start working out and all will be fine. Not every mother recovers the same after birth. Don't let anyone ruin this period for you. As a parent the first year was the most impressive.

I don't get the pressure for women to immediately lose baby weight. You pushed a baby out of a tiny area in your body, you don't have to lose it right away.

By that story you just mean that you were called fat? For a split second I thought that you miscarried... Imagine that situation - asking when the baby is due, when you miscarried a couple months before(and probably told that person that when you were pregnant)

Yep, that's exactly how I read it too until I started reading the comments.

Don't worry, OP. Sometimes it takes a while for a gals body to get back to prepregnancy shape. Congrats on the new baby!

I thought the baby hadn't come out yet and you were 15 months pregnant. ..mornings..^_^;;

OP, if you're trying to remain healthy, then I wouldn't fret too much if you don't lose the baby weight immediately. It might feel a bit discouraging after 6 months, but don't forget how amazing what you did was. Sure babies are born all the time, but I think that they are still an amazing miracle. Enjoy your baby, do your best, and try not to worry :)

Don't feel bad, OP, it takes time to get back into shape. We aren't all supermodels or actresses with a team of personal trainers, chefs, and dietitians to get us back to normal in the matter of weeks. Just know it's embarrassing for the person who asked, too, who now feels like a jerk.

don't worry OP you're still beautiful
