I live with my grandmother and that's an everyday task
Considering your language skills, it makes sense.
Just be patient to your grandpa..Nobody could say that will not be a good time, right?
My husband and I live with his 89 yr old grandfather to care and tend to him after his stroke. He speaks Mandarin so there is a huge language barrier between me and grandpa but we have such a great relationship regardless (He would teach me Mandarin while he speaks whatever little English he knows). I'd gladly teach him how to use his new tablet because it makes him feel young to have one despite our dilemma.
I know the feeling. Here its an everyday occurrence. When I feel myself getting impatient, I try to remember all the things they had to teach me growing up, without complaint. At least he is still around and capable of learning. Be patient and kind, he'll appreciate it more than you think.
I know the feeling. My grandma still can barely figure out how to turn off/on her flip phone. She's had it for a year.

have fun! and be patient, you know how old people are with technology! it's understandable... somewhat.
Cherish these moments, as annoying as they may be. He won't be around forever. Make fond memories :)
