Who the hell would be willing to pay $1,000 for a pie? Like those idiots that bid thousands on a couple of splatters of paint because it's "art". People these days, man...
I'm with you on the pie being stupid, but I pity you for not understanding the concept of art or creativity.
It was probably for a good cause. I've donated hundreds to people walking for cancer. And I don't even get a damn pie!!!
Okay, you totally misinterpreted what I meant. I appreciate art; I really do. I'm an artist myself. I was not talking about portraits, or any of the like that actually take time to make. I was talking about paint literally spat on a canvas and sold for thousands. It only takes a couple of seconds to make. I mean, come on, I'd pay thirty bucks for something like that at most. If it were any more than that, might as well make my own painting.
What makes paint splattered on a canvas famous is not HOW it looks, but WHO made it.
75 that is true and very stupid
Woah what an interesting life you have. (zero sarcasm)
Did you eat the pie after that?
Makes me ashamed to say I've never had pie.
I don't like chocolate.
Yep, I'd pay a $1000 for an 18 year old cherry pie!
Haha, lucky for me, I can get cherry pie for free!
yay who loves pie? bad luck though.
A pie... auction?
Was the pie made of money?
Mmmmm... pie.

What even is a pie auction?
Lol, how is one pie worth $1,000?
