Today, I was at dinner with my boyfriend and his family. We were talking about relationships, and I commented on how online dating was the dumbest thing ever. His mom and step-dad went on to tell me how they had met through an online dating service. FML

I think online dating is kinda unsafe so I wouldn't use it.. But your choice is your choice guys! That must've been embarrassing though!

I met my boyfriend online! YOU ASS! *slap*

You can't judge until you try it.

Actually, I just mis-read. I thought it was 'mom and dad'. So maybe I'm wrong.

A better FML would be: "Today, as I basically copied this FML off a million other places on this website, I realized how lonely and possibly gay I am. FML." You would get bonus points for honesty as well.

You make yourself sound like a homophobic. Other than that, well said.

What has this world come to? Can we not go outside and meet people, must the Internet do that for us too? What's next, the Internet will now wipe your ass fr you! I'm so relieved I have absolutley no responsibilities left, I don't even need to leave the house! What will I do for food!? oh wait, you can grocery shop online now too :)

I have met some of my best friends online. I don't have that option in real life, because the Internet allows me to meet people all over the world...

Dating online is pretty dumb I must admit. It gets boring really fast unless you plan on meeting in real life.

while it could be said that you only expressed your opinion, you did so in a rather offending and stupid manner. i bet my life that i can find more than a hundred things much more stupid than online dating. statistics show that over 8 million couples have met online and are in a long distance relationship. it probably would have been better to have said that you are against the concept of meeting relationship prospects online than to have tagged it as "the dumbest thing ever", indirectly insulting the 8 million internet couples in the United States alone. advice? choose your choice of words before they escape your huge mouth. and do so wisely.

Lemme remove that FOOT out of your mouth real quick!.........aaahhhh better.....now.....YDI!
