definelty, i stepped on a nail before with nike shocks. it went through the shoe and a quarter inch in the arch of my foot... with sandals it probly wouldve successfuly gone through... but still that sux dude, the pain doesnt last too long, i had to walk on it the next monday( it happenes on friday) at school :(
