Today, I was at my mom's funeral. My sisters and I were sitting in the front row. The funeral director, whom we had met with twice before, was going around greeting everyone. When she got to us, she asked where our mom was. Seriously? FML

That person is the biggest asshole in the world, you could fit Mt. Everest in there and still have room

May she rest in peace, and may the funeral director sleep with one eye open.

That's just wrong. You should've either been like oh I don't know. Maybe in the casket??!! Or just cried and made him feel bad.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Might want to pick a different place next time you have to do this.

I'm sorry about your mom, love. That's awful.

I don't care WHAT that fd's reasoning was..... First of all~ what business was it to even ask where your mom was in the first place, because you had already stated that you's were sitting and not running around being little hellions.... Second of all~ the first row is ALWAYS reserved for the deceased's closest family members, therefore they should have know better than to ask a stupid question like that.... And third of all~ being in that profession, and already have met you previously, irregardless of how many families they had been dealing with, it is just the nature of the job to pay close attention to the small details like family memebers faces at a time like that I am VERY sorry for your loss... Hugs op

"If you, of all people, don't know where our mother is, we will have to insist on a full refund of the fees for this funeral."
