Today, I went to the mall with two friends. A modelling scout approached us and asked both of my friends if they were interested in modelling. When the scout finally noticed me, she asked if I was their mom. We're all the same age. FML

Today, I was planning on meeting my friend at the mall. She came late, and I was in the dressing room trying on a few things. When I came out to meet her, she looked at me oddly and said, "You shouldn't buy that, it looks terrible on you." Those were the clothes I came in. FML

Today, I had to go to the mall for a quick errand. While there one of my friends who works at a phone booth was there and I stayed for a little bit chatting with him. While chatting, a girl passed by. She was so pretty that I blurted out, "What a woman!" out loud. Turns out it was my ex. FML

Just because your good looking does not mean you can be a model. you have to be REALLY tall and REALLY thin and alot of models are weird looking. there are alot of gorgous girls out there who couldnt be models.

My friend got told she should try out to be a model and they had to do a show a couple hours later, the lady said nothing at all to me. I went with my friend anyway to watch the show, and all the people they picked looked horribly awkward and blah.... we figure she was too energetic and happy looking. She has the whole height thing working for her, and I'm somewhat short... it doesn't mean I didn't even get suggested because I'm ugly or anything. It doesn't mean you didn't get told you could be a model because you're ugly... it just means she fits the criteria for a model better... and that doesn't mean beautiful. It means tall and skinny and miserable looking. You could be way prettier than her in everything but the modelling world and not be picked. Don't worry about it.
