Today, I was babysitting a really bratty little girl. She came and cuddled up on the couch so I took it as an apology. I feel asleep while she was sitting with me and when I woke up she had peed on me. She locked herself in her room and was laughing about peeing on me for discipling her. FML

Today, I was reading to a child during nap time because she woke up crying. She calmed down right after I began reading, but soon started crying again. I was confused until I felt something warm and wet on my leg. She peed on me. FML

Today, I had to babysit a 9 year-old girl. I hadn't slept for almost 40 hours and fell half-asleep while sitting on her couch for two minutes. She asked me something, but I thought it was a dream and answered with, "Your mom's a hoe." When I woke up, I realized I'd said it out loud instead of in my head. FML

Today, I was babysitting a little girl. She told me she wanted to go to the park, so we did. As we were walking back, I was carrying her on my back. When we were almost at the front door, she told me she had to pee. I told her to hold it in for a second. As we were walking through the door, I felt a warm spot on my back. FML

Today, I babysat a kid who was such a bratty little prick that I actually considered walking out on the job. After his mom finally got home 4 hours later, he called her a slut. When he got in trouble for it, he claimed that I taught him the word. Needless to say, I didn't get paid. FML

Today, I was trying to go to sleep when I heard my sister come home from the bar. I fell asleep and woke up an hour later to see my sister squatting in my dresser drawer. I asked her what she was doing and she said "I'm peeing." FML

Seems to me that for some babysitters it's okay to fall asleep when they are suppose to watch over kids.. When they are paid for watching over the kids... And then come and complain if something wrong or just stupid happen.. YDI, and you should be grateful that nothing worse happened.

My friend's kid used to act up all the time and when he lost video games and things like that, or was exiled to his room (which only had a mattress/sheets/one days worth of clothes), he'd pee/poop all over. The child was 11. So friend was forced to stay WITH him when he was in time-out. He told a therapist that a) he didn't care that he got punished, as long as it meant mommy had to stop what she was doing (like talking to a friend/eating a meal at a restaurant) and pay attention to him and b) it hurt his feelings that she'd rather go to school and work than homeschool him/see a friend instead of play with him etc. Yeah, he was a little brat.

Damn, I know it's not exactly socially acceptable to spank someone else's kid but I would have done it. Sue me, Lady. The sad thing is, the parents probably didn't even do anything about it once they arrived home.

Okay, what the hell. First off, she was bratty, then I guess you skipped the part where you disciplined her (btw, that's how it's spelled) - what did you do to the kid in this disciplining? And then for some reason she came to sit by you on the couch, and you chose to take a nap. Wtf. And then the kid peed on you. You should have been fired for sleeping on the job. It's not like the kid was in bed, it was 2am, and you accidentally drifted off! The kid was wide awake! And any kid who obviously had behavior problems in the first place was a kid that needed watching. What would you have done if this bratty child had taken your nap as an opportunity to go outside and run into the street? It would have been a lot worse than getting peed on! I hope you don't babysit any more. You clearly aren't responsible enough!
