Today, I was babysitting my neighbor's kid. We were playing in the yard, when he fell and got a small scratch on his leg. I gasp, and he takes a huge breath in and yells, "FUUUCK!!!" as loud as possible. The parents thought it was me, and the mother slapped me in the face. FML

I hate the kind of parents that think their kids are so perfect, that they would never do anything wrong. If i were you, I would've slapped her and left. (I would slap my Aunt too, if she weren't family.)

#107, even the "best" parent can't prevent their kids from falling down or getting scratches. And since the babysitter didn't raise the child, it's certainly not her fault that the kid learned to cuss. This question's already been answered a bunch of times, but it's perfectly reasonable that the parents would be home. In high school I had a regular babysitting job where I'd watch two girls while their mother did work in her home office. When my sister was younger our neighbor would hire her for "babysitting" jobs to watch one kid during the other kid's birthday party or something like that.

I've babysat for kids while the parents were there. Once it was for a couple building a garage and needed someone to watch the kids while they worked. I've also babysat for actors' kids at my house while they rehearsed plays my mother directed. Some people care about what their children are up to while they are preoccupied. That being said, I would have called the cops on her and filed assault charges, the self-righteous bitch.

Please read before you guys comment. I find it disgustingly silly that points are repeated over and over and over again without anyone taking heed. It's sad to see people like these become parents. It's already enough they the scum of society, yet their nuisance is manifested even more through their poor upbringing of their offspring. Sad part is that the cycle continues.
