Today, I was babysitting my neighbor's kid. We were playing in the yard, when he fell and got a small scratch on his leg. I gasp, and he takes a huge breath in and yells, "FUUUCK!!!" as loud as possible. The parents thought it was me, and the mother slapped me in the face. FML

I hate the kind of parents that think their kids are so perfect, that they would never do anything wrong. If i were you, I would've slapped her and left. (I would slap my Aunt too, if she weren't family.)

You were babysitting while the parents were at home?

That's assault!! You can report her for that!

Haha #14 yeah. I can't believe she slapped you

so the parents make you babysit while their home? That's the FML there. What a waste of time.

Sometimes parents ask babysitters to entertain the kids while they work or do whatever they need to do (I have babysat kids when the mother and/or father is at home before, it is incredibly awkward). Mostly, it's lazy parents who don't want to deal with their children while they are at home.

Dumb bitch can't recognize her own kid's voice?

it's me, mandy. i'm serious. the reason i was at the house while the parents were also there was that the parents were having a party with some friends from work, so i guess it would be called "mother's helping".

Tell me what happened. You press charges or call her out?

Slap that bitch, or sue for damages. What a C U Next Tuesday.

That is assault, and if you wish, you could file charges against her I would advise against that course of action though; it may prove difficult to demonstrate that the kid was exclaiming. However, assault is never justified and you could press charges, technically

Um what the fact that the kid was yelling is irrelevant to the law
