Today, my boyfriend and I were play-wrestling on the bed, when he started to tickle me. I tried to pull away but he pushed me back down. I ended up hitting my eye on the corner of the nightstand. His comment was "this is why you shouldn't struggle." FML

Today, my boyfriend and I were play-wrestling on the couch. I got thirsty, so I got up and grabbed a metal water bottle and drank out of it. He tried to playfully touch it and spill water on me, but instead hit it hard enough to where it slammed my mouth, chipped my tooth, and cut open my lip. FML

your boyfriend fails. my girlfriend and I wrestle all the time but nothing like that...we make each other tap in different ways. im a gentleman so I usually let her win ;)

It doesn't sound like the OP WAS having fun, sometimes competitive people get carried away and don't see that they've crossed the comfort zone for the other person. If it's not fun for his girlfriend perhaps he should have just let up without making her 'tap out'? Also, if you're wrestling someone who clearly hasn't wrestled before, don't be competitive, go easy.
