Delicious.
oh dear the cringe and feel better
I am really curious how this can happen like a vitamin lack or something?
a deficiency can cause it, but so can other things, like the type of tool you're using or not paying attention. mine came off because my hand jerked wrong while clipping and just tore the damn thing off.
I was wondering the same thing. How weak are OP's toes? Isn't that a sign of something serious, dead tissue or something? I could definitely pull my nail quite hard and it wouldn't just fall off...
When I was about 17, I was playing indoor hockey for PE and a large girl, who got a bit over competitive, stood on my right foot. After a lot of internal screaming and trying not to cry, it turned out that my big toenail was hanging off literally by a thread on my toe. I had to walk around for the rest of the day limping and then pull off the hanging toenail when I got home. It was extremely painful! The only advice I can give is to soak your foot in warm water and add a few caps of TCP - do this for about 15 minutes, pat dry and put a plaster around your toe. I recommend keeping your toenail area covered for 1/2 weeks, until it grows back a bit.
Clipping nails: you're doing it wrong.
I was moving a table with another girl once when we dropped it and it landed on her toe. She was totally unfazed; she took off her shoe and just removed a completely loose big toe nail. And then, insted of throwing it out, she just put it back on as, well as her shoe, and began moving the table again. I'm scarred for life.
Am i the only one thinking zombie or like?..
Now I'm scared to clip my toenails
I imagine the doctor "do you really have to do that?" And you "FML must know!!"
And then you decided to post about it on the internet, instead of going to the doctor. Great ******* job. Moron.
You don't need to go to the doctor over your nail coming off. Moron.

I cringed reading this, I can only imagine your reaction when it happened. Bandage it up, and may your pain be short and negligible. Sorry this happened OP!
that's happened to me! I hope you recover quickly! ps: keep it bandaged so you keep it protected!
