Today, I was confiding in my dad over the phone, after I caught my girlfriend cheating on me. After I hung up and went online, I noticed he'd been live-blogging the whole call on Facebook and commenting that he was considering suicide to escape the boredom. FML

Today, I was using my dad's cell because I had broken mine. I was texting my boyfriend all day when my dad needed his phone back. I forgot to tell my boyfriend that my dad would be using the phone. My boyfriend then texted graphically what he wanted to do to my dad. FML

Talk about adding insult to injury man, but really you can't tell me you saw no signs at all that lead to the cheating. There are always signs man, as subtle as it may be, it's a sign nonetheless and intuition should've at least led you to something. Sorry man, going through a tough part in a relationship too and I think the obvious is inevitable

Generally there are signs and a lot of that can be helped by knowing what the person was like before you got together. Do they frequently get drunk and hook up or are overtly flirty? As far as the the dad goes that is shitty, but if this is a constant thing I can see him being upset. He wants to feel bad, but if the OP constantly makes shitty choices I can see the dad being sick of it or the dads just an ass but this stuff doesn't usually appear out of no where.
