Today, I was confiding in my dad over the phone, after I caught my girlfriend cheating on me. After I hung up and went online, I noticed he'd been live-blogging the whole call on Facebook and commenting that he was considering suicide to escape the boredom. FML

Today, I was using my dad's cell because I had broken mine. I was texting my boyfriend all day when my dad needed his phone back. I forgot to tell my boyfriend that my dad would be using the phone. My boyfriend then texted graphically what he wanted to do to my dad. FML

Yeah, OP, I suggest a lifetime shun of your father. No calls, no helping him into the nursing home, no anything. If you father can't sit and listen to a private conversation respectfully, then he doesn't deserve to be your father.
