Today, I was crying at my desk at work. My colleague tried to cheer me up by saying: "Don't worry, I'm sure you will find a new job soon". I didn't even know I was fired. I was crying because my cat died this morning. FML

Today, I found out my boss wrote me up because he heard me crying on the phone, and that it was unprofessional. I was talking to my sister, who was telling that me my father had died. Three weeks ago, he was crying about his dog breaking his leg. FML

Today, I was at a meeting. One of the other members decided to share that their cat had passed away recently. I got an uncontrollable nervous laugh, started crying because I was laughing so hard, and left the room while everyone watched in horror. FML

I am so sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you feel to lose a beloved pet. I hate mine cat for almost 14 happy years :] but, now he's no longer suffering. Stay strong, it gets easier.

Sorry for your loss(es) OP, I hope you'll be able to get your job back or find another one soon. As for the cat, well, I speak from experience when I say you can't just "find another one", so my thoughts are with you. PS: @ #96 - You're a heartless b****** ! Note the "speak your mind, but please try and be respectful." Also, as a boss, if someone can't help but cry at their desk, regardless of the reason, they need to get themselves together or go home. It is unprofessional, much like your comment.
