Plenty of girls mistake gay guys for straight, all we notice is that nice ass body sometimes, it drowns out the voice, the clothes, the fact he has a man right next to him... From the way it's worded, I don't think she realized he was gay until he said "If I was straight." Besides, his sexual orientation doesn't change the way he looks--a hot guy is hot no matter which gender he's attracted to.
