Today, I was doing laundry at college. There was a pile of clothes sitting on top of a dryer, but the dryer was empty so I used it. I came back to a note saying, "Don't touch my laundry, asshole" and a dryer filled with urine soaked laundry. FML

I don't think you understand-the dryer was EMPTY with someone else's clean, dry laundry on top when I got there. I put my stuff in the the dryer and the idiot thought that I took his clothes out when in fact, it took him so long to get his stuff that SOMEONE ELSE took his clothes out, dried their own, AND took their own laundry out again. To all the people who agree that this is a real FML-Unfortunately the room doesn't have security cameras, but I narrowed it down to 3 possible people based on who I remember being in the hall at the time and the fact that it was mens clothing. The RA and the administration are currently investigating it-hopefully they make the culprit confess!

No, that guy was an asshole. Even if you had touched it, Taking someone's stuff out of the dryer after the time is up and leaving it on top is standard practice, and he had no right to be ab asshole about it. If you leave your clothes over time, and you find them on top of the dryer, then thats life, and deal with it. At my school we do that for each other all the time. No one gets upset over it.

thats the nastiest thing eva-sorry dude...

That's ******* gross. There's no excuse for that.

Your brother has issues and no, they don't own the dryer until they come get their clothes. If it was meant to work that way, they'd come with locker keys like in a bus station. But they don't, they're for everyone to use, and one or two lazy ***** do not get to monopolize it like that.

I know someone who had her clothes shit on in the washer/dyer. It was, by all accounts, incredibly gross. :( And very expensive to replace, too.

At least the OP's clothes were in the laundry room when they got peed on, so that he can just wash them again.

That guy is an asshole. Laundry can get pretty hectic at times with 3 washers and 3 dryers for about 70 people. I generally mark about 2-2.5 hours for laundry just in case something like jeans didn't dry all the way through because it takes forever to dry. We haven't had any issues as of yet with people and their laundry. Our section of the floor made magnets with our names and room numbers on it so that we can claim our washer and dryer until the magnet (or sticky note because you need both a washer and dryer simultaneously) is removed. However, if something has been sitting, I have known some people to put dry clothes on top of the dryer when it was especially busy.

awww ahahaha. that SUCKS! don't touch his dryer.

So, after taking advantage of someone who left their laundry unattended, you then left YOURS unattended? Sounds like you were asking for it, to me. If you're gonna do something like that, you better not set yourself up for the same treatment you're giving.

How is it being already empty taking advantage of it? Someone else took advantage it. And for that matter someone before him was able to dry their clothes and remove them, and then allow this guy to have his clothes dried. His shit was there to long. Regardless of if he took advantage of anything, you don't disrespect people like that, that's ignorant and childish.

Waiting for him there and beating the hell outta him... That's what he deserves...

I remember i had issues with people throwing my laundry out of the dryer all the time so i took my homework into the laundry room and watched the asshole throw my clothes out... I said "excuse me, I am currently using that dyer" He goes and gets his friends because i used the N word in the process of being nice. crazy world we live in
