Today, I was driving to work when a state trooper rammed into my car from behind, because he was on the cell phone and not paying attention. He gave me a ticket for "Failure to control speed to avoid a crash." FML

Today, I was driving when I noticed that the guy in front was on the phone. I pulled up next to him, pulled out my phone and I made a gesture that he needed to put his phone away. It was a cop. I got a ticket for driving while on my cell phone. FML

Today, while I was driving, a police officer jumped out from the sidewalk and into my lane. I slammed on the brakes so I wouldn't hit him. He then gave me a ticket for "obstructing traffic." FML

Today, I saw a car swerving in front of me on the freeway, so I whipped out my cell to report the DUI. As soon as it started ringing, I see police lights in my rear view and got slapped with a ticket for using a cell phone while driving. After explaining why, the officer said, "Nice try." FML

Today, I was driving on the highway and a cop had his radar gun out. The woman in front of me panics and slams her brakes on, causing me to rear end her. The cop cited me for "tailgating" and I have to pay for the damages on both of our cars. FML

Today, I lost control of my vehicle while driving. The car went off the road, rolled over, and ended up being totaled. The policeman asked me if I was alright and I said I was. He seemed relieved at my answer. Then he handed me a $300 ticket for failing to maintain my lane. FML

Today, I crashed into a pole on purpose as a cop pulled me over for speeding. I figured the officer would feel bad for me and that the cost of fixing my car would be less than a ticket. He gave me one anyway. FML

for those of you who say there are no bad cops n that this is fake... my brother-in-law is a cop. when he is having a bad day n he is on the freeway...he pulls off random people onto his ramp...then just passes by them...says it makes his day so much better... to add on to that...i had my license plate stolen from my car yesterday n when i reported it...the deputy that assisted me told if i got a ticket it was because the cop was an asshole n to fight it... so ha! there are bad cops... n OP you better fight it...dont reward bad behaviors by letting him win...

In the state of Maryland, it's automatically your fault if you rear-end someone. Therefore, the cop is definitely at fault (and it won't be hard for you to prove as you're the one who got rear-ended) and you can battle it (the ticket and him blaming you).
