Today, I was eating a hotdog. My huge Siberian Husky, upon becoming aware of this, jumped up on me. He forced his tongue into my mouth and ate the food I was in the middle of eating. FML

I probably should have stated in the OP that I've only had my dog for 2 months, and upon receiving him, he was immediately signed up for obedience training. In fact, he graduated last Monday.

YDI for eating that hot dog so seductively.

Never buy flavored xondomns and go near that dog

I love how we come together as a family almost for one cause... to hate on snickerdoodles. may I join?

A dog can't force his tongue in your mouth. You let him tongue you.

OP here. Yes he can. I'm 4'10" and weigh 80 lbs. And my dog is ridiculously strong.

Eew. Start training your dog. And close your mouth while chewing.

Haha. Looks like that dog wanted that wiener in his mouth more than u did.

I think it's time for some serious obedience training.

He's been in training ever since I got him 2 months ago. He just graduated from the beginner's class last Monday, and will be enrolled in an advanced class.

Then you shouldn't get that breed of dog if your not going to spend the time training it properly. A well trained dog should be taught to ignore people food and not to jump on the furniture and especially steal the food right out of the owners mouth. OP Ydi for not training your dog.

dogs, even well trained dogs do that, actually

Oh wow, usually, when i'm eating, I don't allow my dogs on my lap, so there's mo chance of them doing that. Why didn't you push your dog down? That's what I'm wondering. If you're eating, don't let your dog sit in your lap. Fyourdogslife because he has such a horibbile freaking owner. and YDI.

Okay, you definitely deserved that. Upon the purchase of my Ridgeback mix, I knew from the offset he'd need training, and he went with me once a week to obedience school. He doesn't even beg. If you're going to have the type of dog that can be aggressive, then you need to train him, or else he'll be a hazard. If you can't afford/don't know how to train? Don't get that kind of dog.
