Today, I was eating a hotdog. My huge Siberian Husky, upon becoming aware of this, jumped up on me. He forced his tongue into my mouth and ate the food I was in the middle of eating. FML

I probably should have stated in the OP that I've only had my dog for 2 months, and upon receiving him, he was immediately signed up for obedience training. In fact, he graduated last Monday.

YDI for eating that hot dog so seductively.

Never buy flavored xondomns and go near that dog

Are you saying "FML" because of what happened or because you liked it? :3

Hmmm...you can't train a dog to ignore food, you can train them to not try to take it, but they will still stare at you when your eating, well that is my opinion basedon the dogs I have had, and Snickerdoodles, don't act like you know it all..you don't..and neither does anyone else in this world

How is it her fault? Who's to say she isn't training her dog, but has people she lives with (brother, parents, children) that are just giving the dog people food? I'm trying to train my dogs, but my brother is constantly giving him people food. There isn't much I can do when a 30 year old man still living at home with his 19 year old sister.

hmm snickerdoodles is just mad because at least a dog wants to make out with this chick! you're just mad because a dog wouldnt even LOOK at you let alone sticking his tongue in your mouth. You're just plain ugly. xD

Sorry for the typo. Dude, you are having serious dominance issues with your dog. He thinks he's in control and obviously does as he pleases. Wise thing to do with a dog this size is find a good trainer who specializes in behavior problems.

seriously.i have to dogs a husky and a lab they are very well trained, they have been trained that the minute we sit at the table they are to go and lie down somewheres not beside the table. This persons dog could be well trained and is still trying to push buttons.my dogs are never aloud on the couch but still tries to lay on it.even the best trained dogs tend to push buttons and see how much they can get away with.
