Today, I was eating a hotdog. My huge Siberian Husky, upon becoming aware of this, jumped up on me. He forced his tongue into my mouth and ate the food I was in the middle of eating. FML

I probably should have stated in the OP that I've only had my dog for 2 months, and upon receiving him, he was immediately signed up for obedience training. In fact, he graduated last Monday.

YDI for eating that hot dog so seductively.

He's being enrolled in an advanced class that starts in April. My mom eventually wants to make him a therapy dog, because she's a Hospice nurse and feels bad about leaving him at home while she goes to work. That way, she could take him with and it would benefit others.

I really hate this OP. there's no reason to repeat the same thing over and over. those obedience classes obviously aren't working. also, as stated before, if you're too small to control your dog, which you clearly are, get a smaller dog.

By that logic a lot of breeds wouldn't even exist, but your logic is weak anyways. Any well trained dog can be handled by any reasonable person.

OP here. Right after I got him I enrolled him in an obedience training class. He graduated last Monday.

Unless the OP just adopted the dog from a shelter, this is a YDI for not being a competent owner an disciplining the dog when it was a puppy.
