I probably should have stated in the OP that I've only had my dog for 2 months, and upon receiving him, he was immediately signed up for obedience training. In fact, he graduated last Monday.

I have an Akita, and a Malamute. Both of which are significantly larger than a husky could ever hope to be, and both breeds are notoriously difficult to train. However, that did not stop me from actually training them. While they still climb in my lap from time to time, they certainly never do it when I'm eating, and they never attempt to steal my food. Those of you with huskies that are defending the OP need to train your dogs a little bit better. If you can't take the time and the responsibility to train your dogs correctly, you shouldn't have a dog. OP, YDI. Also, quit exaggerating. Huskies are not "huge".
aych? Laurdie? HI!
If you're really that small, you shouldn't have bought a dog that's too big for you to control.
fake
Glen12, huskies are difficult to train true, but that justs makes it more of a YDI. She shouldn't get a dog she doesn't have the patience or skill to train. My husky would never behave like that =/
YDI and FYL. I have a large husky/shepherd and an American pitbull terrior, very strong dogs, never have they ever done that. and they are some demanding pups. if your dog is doing that, smack him! right across the face, he won't be doin it again, trust me. you need to train your dog. an try chewing with your mouth shut.
Train your dog. You ruined your dog by not training it.
