Today, I was feeling down because I always think that I'm overweight. My boyfriend tried to prove me wrong by lifting me up. I threw his back out. FML

You don't lift with your back, that's more than likely why he threw his back out. He's a keeper OP :)

He could just be really weak. But at least he tried to make you feel better. :/

Hey, don't feel bad. I threw my back out picking up my 25 lb toddler the wrong way. :/ Shit happens, but I know it doesn't help your self esteem.

honey, you can throw your back out doing laundry. it's pretty easy. calm down and stop obsessing over the curves he already loves.

Better then what my boyfriend did. When I told him I feel over weight he said I should work out more and then brought my anxiety back.

You're fine, he just didn't lift with proper body mechanics.... Or he's a wimp, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Just lifted wrong, yeah.

My daughter is almost 10 and she doesn't have an ounce of fat on her. She is lean, muscular and been in gymnastics and on her school's swim team since she started kindergarten. She tried on a pair of size 10 jean that were "supposed" to be her size...she couldn't even pull them past her knees. She came out of the dressing room, looking depressed and worried and asked if she was fat! I grabbed the jeans and no way in hell a normal girl could fit in them. They were "Justice" brand jeans. Apparently they have this idea that 10yr old girls should look like skeletons to fit in their jeans. And my daughter who has lean muscle, no fat and a lanky build could not fit into their pants. Society's version of a healthy weight is looking anorexic...just look at the runway models.
