Today, I was fired. My boss told me via email that it was because I "don't have enough experience with fun spiritual." Uh, what? FML

Report that. Wrongful termination is illegal, and you can sue. I doubt "no enough experience with fun spiritual" will hol up in court. Especially in court.

well he was obviously right in firing you. you clearly don't have enough experience in fun spiritual if you don't even know what it is. obviously it's....umm....fun spiritual is the....**** it, I don't ******* know! your boss, sorry ex boss, is a weed smoking, smelly, hippy fruit loop! he sounds fun....and spiritual.

50 - Only Grammar Nazis and people with fake tans will prevail? Good thing I'm in the former category. Didi - I had to laugh at your comment. Hilarious!

Ha you could probably get him for religious discrimination.

I would have responded back that I was raised with no fun spirtitual. Just to see what they would say back.

check your state's work laws. some states do not have a 'right to work' law meaning that unless you have tenure your boss is not required to tell you why you are being fired. tennessee is an example of this. good luck.

This reminds me of highschool when a boyfriend of mine sent me a breakup text that said "It feels like I haven't really been you".

I suggest listening to the song Son of a Preacher Man. that's pretty 'fun spiritual'. ;)

I got fired a few months ago (right before the holidays) because "it doesn't work." I feel your pain!
