Today, I was following my dad while texting, not really watching where we're going. Suddenly, he ran ahead and I looked up to see what he was doing. We were in the men's bathroom. There were 3 guys at the urinals. I'm a 15 year old girl. FML

I have heard of texting while driving, while driving a train, while taking a shit, and while biking. I have also heard of pedestrian texters run into the following: a car, a mall fountain, over the edge of a pier, a wall, and myself. But I have never heard of something as stupid as this. I hope that conversation was important.

Oh my god, people text and walk all the time. I was 15, I was following my dad around while he got snacks for the drive. I wasn't FOCUSED on the surroundings. I would look up after every text. It just so happens he walked into the washroom. Yes, I deserved it, obviously I should've been paying attention. BUT, I am not idiotic. It was an innocent mistake. I was 15. I'm 18 now. It was just a funny thing that happened to me. Calm down.

5 years later reading all these comments is hilarious! Yes I probably deserved it. And for all who said 'I hope you never get your license', guess who's got her license and DOESN'T text and drive?
