Today, I was following my dad while texting, not really watching where we're going. Suddenly, he ran ahead and I looked up to see what he was doing. We were in the men's bathroom. There were 3 guys at the urinals. I'm a 15 year old girl. FML

we were driving to a different province and had stopped at a gas station. I had plenty of time to spend with him on a 13 hour drive. I was texting people I wouldn't see for awhile. jsyk ..

And you're fifteen? I hope you don't plan on getting your license anytime soon.

YDI. If you hadn't of walked in there, you would've been one of the annoying ignorant people walking into others. Watch what you're doing.

yeah , i don't text while walking across a street . and I'm not as obsessed with my phone as some of these people think : P

You totally deserved it. Next time that happens you could be crossing the street and get struck by a car or something that'll cause injury or harm. Turn off the ****ing phone for a change, and stop being so attached to constantly communicating about useless sh*t with your friends! Watch where you are going!

YDI. Stop texting. Why don't you just talk on the phone? Geez >.> If you can't talk on the phone for some apparent reason, then watch where you are going, especially when you open a door / walk through one... unless the restroom has no door.........

Talking on a prepaid phone is quite expensive. My apologies that I'm not spoiled and have a 100$ phone bill. I paid it myself, and I had unlimited texting (25$/month). So clearly I am going to text rather than talk. Plus, I find it annoying talking on the phone in a public place. My conversations are not meant to be announced to all the other customers. I was texting, big deal. I learned my lesson. I am not 'obsessed' with my phone like everyone likes to believe I am! It was a couple texts. I wanted to text while we were stopped, because in the car I would actually carry on a conversation with my dad. :)

Apparently texting while walking automatically equals being obsessed with your phone? Which is odd, because I text and walk sometimes, and I text on average 3-4 times a week.

I love the split right down the middle. People defending the OP and people insulting her. Guys, she made a single mistake. It's not like it was dangerous or anything - when she walks into a car, THEN you can complain. And besides - if you weren't reading, she was FOLLOWING HER DAD. Which means she wasn't in danger, just a little unobservant. OP ftw.

yeah, that's like so not cool... i already did the same kinda thing XD real not cool when you look up and everybody looking at U... lol anyway its not that bad ;P

awwhh, lay off, its not fair to judge someone cause of something so small. LMAOOO, though, hope it never happens again:):)

I once showered in a girl's shower at a hotel, come to think of it.... I thought it was unisex... there wasn't a sign >.>

WTF does a 15 year old need a cell phone for? And if texting is taking so much time and attention, wouldn't it be easier and faster to just call the person?

WTF does a 15 year old need a cellphone for?! I was in highschool for god's sake. Why WOULDN'T I have a cellphone? How else am I to contact someone say, if I needed to be picked up? You can say all you want 'Go find a payphone!', but half the payphones have been taken out because nobody uses them!! I know 10 year olds that have cellphones.
