no, if youre going to wax a part of your face it needs to be at least a week before any important event. this is basic. you dont know how your skin will react to the wax and it scabs over if you dont wash it thoroughly after waxing because germs will get into the pores and cause you to break out but anyways, dont shave your face. ydi. even if it doesnt technically grow back thicker or faster, it is still the most noticable when it starts to grow out

NEVER take a razor to your face if you're a girl! they have plenty of other options for getting rid of a little facial hair. for example, theres tons of lotions meant for facial hair removal (nail, sally hansen). plus the usual options of waxing, plucking, etc.

Don't wax or shave or use creams. Use cream bleach. The more you try to take the hair out by shaving, the thicker and stronger it will grow back. The bleach will dye the hair lighter so it's less noticeable, and it will last longer than both shaving and waxing. Poor girl. NEVER SHAVE YOUR LIP AGAIN.

The thing you all seem to be forgetting is that you have to let hair get to a certain LENGTH before you wax it. For that reason, ladies cursed with darker facial hair may not really have that option without having to spend some time looking like you belong in Supertroopers. Not to mention, Nair and those types of creams cause allergic reactions in many people with sensitive skin. So OP, I'm sorry; I understand; it sucks. Try an electric razor.
