Today, I was gushing about my love for Disney princesses when someone told me I "definitely needed to calm down." By whom? A four-year-old girl. FML

OP, hi! I can definitely be talkative sometimes, but that's actually not what happened here. I was at my friend's house and we were trying to pick a movie to watch when I noticed they had Aladdin. We got into a silly argument over whether to watch that or some action flick when I started dramatically singing and talking about all my favorite Disney princesses for laughs. Little did I know, during that time, my friend's little sister had wandered in and was staring at me. The whole room quieted down and then we heard that little bit of sass- "You definitely need to calm down." We all laughed so hard we cried.

This just means you weren't singing "Part of Your World" loud enough. Try harder!

You can never be too old for Disney! :)

One day she too will miss childhood!! I still get excited over old toys or characters.. Now I show them to my son.

You know we, the grown ups, had a good childhood life when kids these days do not join in when it comes to anything involving Disney characters.

Never too old to love Disney c:

This one is going to be a tomboy. Who doesn't love Disney? :D

Hi, I'm OP :) I actually totally agree with you. Even though I've always been a princess girl, it's always annoying to have someone assume something about you. I wasn't talking to the little girl at the time, FYI. She wandered in to my conversation with friends and overheard my obsessing.

Relevant: You should all go see Frozen. It's one of my new favorites :D And there are TWO badass princesses!

I absolutely LOVE the song let it go in frozen :-D

Yes well I've always had the biggest crush on Dory, but you can't tell anyone. It's a secret!
