OP, hi! I can definitely be talkative sometimes, but that's actually not what happened here. I was at my friend's house and we were trying to pick a movie to watch when I noticed they had Aladdin. We got into a silly argument over whether to watch that or some action flick when I started dramatically singing and talking about all my favorite Disney princesses for laughs. Little did I know, during that time, my friend's little sister had wandered in and was staring at me. The whole room quieted down and then we heard that little bit of sass- "You definitely need to calm down." We all laughed so hard we cried.

Hey never give up that part of your inner child....having a little something you never give up on as you grow up is what makes being a grown up worth while...build Lego, read comic books, watch Disney princess movies...whatever your thing is just make it yours and don't let anyone tell you different.....especially that little girl because she is to young to have formed those opinions and she's just emulating her parents and repeating what they've said to her which if they're not letting her be a kid then they aren't the best of parents in my opinion because all they're doing is stifling her creativity, imagination, and originality....they're essentially raising a robot.
This is a rarity. Such wonderful grammar and vocabulary for a four year old. *cough*
Its alright to love something like that. I love the Avengers. You love Princesses. Its allll good
Why not both?
I'm a HUGE Tinkerbell fan. I had all sons and so I got to enjoy some Disney magic as the princess of my household. It became a fun subject of jokes and made gift buying fun. I hope that 4 yr-old's mother spoke to her about her rudeness. She had no business getting into an adult's conversation, no matter what the subject.
Maby you do need to calm down no offence
Stating how much you still like/enjoy Disney stuff is nice & all, but seriously..."gushing"..that imho is for 4-10 yr olds, & if a 4yr old is telling you to calm down then they must think Disney princesses are as great as you'd like to believe..(at least not to her)...just saying...lolz
I'm shocked no one's commented on the grammar issue on this yet. FML, could you please sort that out? It reads really badly.
Did you tell her to STFU? I would have.
And swear to a 4 year old? Geeeeez
your grammar sucks.
How does his grammar suck?
Psh no big deal ... Old Disney is awesome

This just means you weren't singing "Part of Your World" loud enough. Try harder!
You can never be too old for Disney! :)
